What file formats does it accept?
PDF and DOCX in almost any shape: single or two-column, however they were exported. Recaster reads the embedded text, detects the fields, and rebuilds them into your template. You always get a clean DOCX back, ready to print to PDF. Image-only or scanned PDFs (no selectable text) aren't supported yet.
How does template learning work?
Upload one CV already in your house style. Recaster reads its layout, fonts, logo placement and section order, and stores that as your template. Every later batch is rendered to match, with no template builder and no manual setup.
Where is my data stored?
Everything runs on EU infrastructure and no data leaves Europe. Candidate CVs are processed in memory, returned to you, then dropped: they are never written to disk or a database. The one thing we store is your learned template, and it is PII-free by design.
What happens to purchased credits?
Pack credits never expire. Buy one whenever you like and draw it down at your own pace: the larger the pack, the lower the per-CV price.
Do you charge per user?
Never. Every plan includes unlimited seats, so put your whole team on one account. You pay per formatted CV, not per chair.
Can I automate it?
Automation is on the roadmap. Zapier, n8n, Make and an MCP server are planned, so you'll be able to trigger batches and route finished files back into your ATS or shared drive. Today, Recaster is driven from the dashboard.
